Dads
Dad's Prayer for January 15th
A short, Scripture-shaped dads prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord, do as You have said.
About forgiveness, when I confess.About wisdom, when I ask.About being with me at work this afternoon.About making me more like Jesus, even when I keep falling into the same small failure.
I am not asking for new promises today.I am asking You to keep the ones already on the books. That is enough.I will stop trying to bargain.Just do what You said.I will believe You enough to walk into the day on it.
Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
