Lord, You sent Jesus to save the whole world, not just the people I think deserve it. My circle of mercy has shrunk again. I have decided who is worth my patience, and the list keeps getting shorter. Stretch it back out. The coworker I have written off. The relative whose politics make me see red. The neighbor who is loud at the wrong hours. You sent Your Son for them, too. Help me carry that into tomorrow without making a speech. Just give me a wider heart. A slower tongue. A willingness to give one more chance than my pride wants to give. Amen.
