Dads
Dad’s Prayer for February 22nd
A short, Scripture-shaped dads prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, You are the source of every good strength I have. The Bible says Joseph's arms were made strong by Your hand. That is my story too.
The patience I find on hard nights is Yours. The endurance I show at work that surprises me is Yours. The courage to do right when nobody is watching is Yours. None of it starts with me.
Keep me drawing from You. Do not let me take credit for what You gave me. When I feel strong and able, that is when I need You most. Steady my arms again by Your hand. Quietly. Without me needing to perform.
Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
