Kids Prayer for February 14th
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father,
Long ago in the Bible, a king who had been a prisoner got food from the king's table every single day. Every day. You feed me every day, too.
Breakfast that I sometimes complain about. Lunch in my lunchbox that I usually like. Dinner that Mom or Dad cooked, even when they were tired. I do not earn it. It just shows up.
Thank You for giving me food every day. Make me grateful at the table tonight.
Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
