Kids Prayer for March 24th
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Dear God,
Jesus prayed with loud cries and tears, and You heard Him. So I know it is okay to be loud. It is okay to cry.
Most of the time, I say quiet, polite prayers. But tonight I am sad. My friend told me he is moving away in two weeks. It does not feel fair. I want to cry out to You.
Even when I am too sad to find the right words, hear me. You are good, even when things are hard.
Amen.
