Kids
Kids Prayer for August 3rd
A short, Scripture-shaped kids prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord Jesus, You once spoke to a storm and said, Peace, be still. Sometimes my heart feels like a storm, too, not because of the weather outside, but because of the feelings inside. Say those same words to me today. I am too small to calm my own storms. You are not. Thank You that You did it then and You do it now. Speak peace to my heart. I will listen. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
