New Mothers Prayer for March 24th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Jesus prayed in the garden and You heard Him. He still went to the cross, but His prayer was not ignored. That is a comfort I did not know I needed.
My prayers may not be answered the way I want. The baby may not sleep tonight. The hard week may not lift quickly. The conversation may still be tense.
But You hear me. The answer is not always what I asked for, and yet the prayer is heard, and the love behind the answer is the same.
Help me trust the One who hears, even when the answer looks different than I hoped. Shape my heart to want what You want for this home.
Amen.
