New Mothers Prayer for April 1st
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I have been asking You for so much lately. Sleep. Energy. Patience. A clearer schedule. Tonight I want to ask for something simpler. Just nearness. I do not need a feeling. I do not need a sign. Just the quiet certainty that You are near while I sit here with the baby asleep on my chest. Closeness. The way I keep my hand on her back to feel her breathing. That kind of closeness from You. Stay near. That is the whole prayer. Amen.
