New Mothers Prayer for August 27th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, You once asked Your people how long it would take to trust You. Ask me too. I do not believe well today. I believe the worst case for the appointment. I believe the worry about the milk supply. I believe the rumor in my head that I am not a good mother. I believe less easily that You are good, that You are listening, that You have not handed me a baby and then walked away. Help my unbelief, plainly. Not with a feeling, just with one small act of trust. The next bottle. The next breath in. The next short prayer. Amen.
