New Mothers Prayer for October 16th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord Jesus, You once called Your friends to the shore and said, Come and have breakfast. You did not quiz them first. You just fed them. I have been acting as if I have to pass a test before I can come to You. But You are not keeping score. You are cooking breakfast. The bread is on the fire. The fish is ready. You set the table without checking what I brought. So I come. I sit down with You. Let this be my prayer today: I am eating at Your table. That changes everything, even when my day looks the same. Amen.
