New Mothers Prayer for December 31st

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Lord Jesus, You once stood up on the last day of a great feast and called out, If anyone is thirsty, come to Me and drink. Tonight is the last night of this year. You are still standing. You are still calling. I am so thirsty. I'm thirstier than I was in January. My arms are heavy. My mouth is dry. I do not need answers right now. I just need water. Let me come to You one more time before this year ends. Let me walk into the new year still drinking, still held, still Yours. Amen.
