Wedding At Cana Prayer
A short, Scripture-shaped bible story prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord Jesus, at the wedding in Cana, You turned water into wine. The party was about to run dry, and You saved it. You kept the good wine until now.
You did not come to earth to be solemn. Your kingdom is like a wedding feast where the best comes late, and there is more than enough.
Cure my joyless faith. Too often, I have been heavy on duty and light on joy. You are the giver of the good wine. Let me receive it at the right times and in the right ways.
Bless the small celebrations in my life. Let the gospel show up in them as the good wine, kept until now.
Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
