Teens Prayer for January 6th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord, my eyes opened, and the worry was already there waiting. The test. The friend who hasn't answered. The thing I said yesterday that I cannot take back. Before I grab my phone, before I replay it all again, Your Word says I can bring my anxiety to You because You care about me. So here. Take it. I don't always know how to let go, but I can name each worry out loud and stop acting like it's all on me. The test will happen. The friend will answer or not. What I said has already been said, and I need Your forgiveness to make it right. Today I want to be present in the real room I'm in, not lost in every worst case I can imagine. Help me do the next small thing that honors You, even when no one sees. I come to You not because I've earned anything, but because You invite me. Thank You that I don't have to carry this alone. Amen.
