Teens Prayer for January 26th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Jesus said to look at the birds — they don't plant or store food, and You still feed them. He said that to people who worry about tomorrow. I am one of those people. I have eight tabs open in my head before I even brush my teeth. Take the morning. Hand me my day with both hands instead of letting me grab it and start running. Help me notice one real thing today: the actual weather, the actual people in front of me, what's actually on my desk. Not the made-up competition between me and everyone I follow. Make my speech kinder than usual. Make my work patient. Give me the courage to do the small thing nobody will see — and be okay with that. This day is Yours. I give it to You.
Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
Verses to pray
Pray these slowly, one line at a time. Scripture quoted from a public-domain translation.
See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
