Teens Prayer for January 27th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, today was neither great nor terrible. Mostly, I just reacted. I let other people set the mood. I checked my phone too many times. I avoided the one thing I knew I should do. But Your grace did not run out. You kept giving me more grace than I used today. Thanks for the friend who texted first. Thanks for the dad who did not push when I went quiet on the drive. Thanks for the song that came on at the exact right second. I am sorry for the part of today where I acted like my life was only about me. I cannot fix any of it from this bed. Quiet my mind down. I do not need one more round of trying to fix myself. Tomorrow, Your grace will be there before I even open my eyes. Amen.
