Teens Prayer for March 23rd
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord, I do not feel courageous, and tomorrow I have to do a courageous thing. Jesus, You were in agony in Gethsemane, and You still went. You did not feel ready either. Help me go too. I do not need to feel brave first. I just need to take the next step: walk into the audition, send the message, take the stand, sit down for the hard conversation. I can do the act before the feeling shows up. Sometimes the feeling never shows up. The act still counts. Give me a small, steady portion of what I need just to get into the room. After the room, the rest is just the rest. You went first into a much harder room for me. Walk me into mine. Amen.
