Teens Prayer for April 3rd
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, a friend chose to side with someone else against me. It happened in a group chat I was not even in. I found out from a screenshot I was not supposed to see. Jesus was handed over by people who had walked with Him. I know my situation is not the same. But the hurt is still real. I want to ruin them back. I am choosing not to. Take that want away from me. I will not screenshot it back. I will not spread it in another group. I will not keep a list of everything they did wrong. I will sit with this friend in person this week and ask them what happened. If we can fix this, good. If not, I will let the friendship fade without hate in my heart. Make me someone who can say I am hurt without using that hurt as a weapon. That is the harder way. It is the slower way. You walk it with people every day. I am asking You to walk it with me through this one. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
