Teens Prayer for April 23rd
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, a girl in my friend group has been cold to me for weeks. I do not know why, and the not-knowing has me writing whole arguments in my head. Your Word says I am more than a conqueror through You. If that is true, I do not have to win some secret mental fight. Take those made-up fights away. They are not helping. They are just making me bitter. Tomorrow at lunch, I will sit next to her and just ask if I did something wrong. If she says yes, I will listen. If she says no, I will believe her and let it go. Either way, the script in my head stops tonight. She is not my enemy. I am not her victim. Pull me out of the story I wrote and put me back in the real room. Amen.
