Teens Prayer for June 12th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, a friend lied to me, and I have been collecting proof as if I was going to take her to court. But Your Word says we all fall short. If I am honest, I have lied too — even to her. Take the case I have been building against her. I will talk to her soon. I will tell her what I noticed and give her a chance to explain. I will not lead with the proof. I will lead with the fact that I want this friendship to stay honest. Help me remember she is not on trial. We are two friends about to have a hard talk. Help me hold it that way.
Amen.
