Teens Prayer for June 18th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, my family has not noticed that I am not okay. Every evening at dinner, I have been carefully arranging my face for them. But You see me. You are closer than anyone at that table. I can tell You the truth without worrying about how anyone will react. So here is the truth: I am not okay. Not in a crisis way. Just a low-grade tired that has been going on for weeks. Take the pretending from me. Tomorrow, I will tell one parent at least a piece of the truth. Not everything. Just enough to stop carrying this secret alone. After that, I trust You to handle what comes. Carry me through the next ordinary day. Amen.
