Teens Prayer for October 3rd
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Psalm 139 says You have searched me and known me. There is no version of myself You have not seen. You have seen me at my worst and have not left. Tonight, let me stop trying to manage Your opinion of me. You already know everything about me. You chose to love me anyway. That is a love I can rest in. I do not have to be impressive to keep it. I do not have to hide anything to keep it. You saw the worst and stayed. Let me sleep on that tonight. There is nothing I could tell You tomorrow that would change the love I rest in right now. Amen.
